Inspire the next generation of storytellers with an unforgettable creative writing and reading experience for ages 7–12.

Bring the magic of stories to life with our Creating Worlds with Creative Writing Workshop, a hands-on, high-energy session that sparks imagination, nurtures literacy, and empowers every child to see themselves as both a reader and a writer.

Led by two trailblazing young authors, who were published at just 12 and 10 years old, this workshop offers something truly unique: children learning the craft of storytelling directly from peers who have been where they are now. Since the release of their debut novels Sagas of Anya and Land of the Nurogons (featured on BBC, Channel 4, Disney, and the Daily Express), they have gone on to co-found Happier Every Chapter, a subscription service driving reading for pleasure and diversity in children’s literature.

In this interactive workshop, pupils will:
✨ Discover how to create compelling characters and build immersive worlds
✨ Learn step-by-step techniques for plotting stories that captivate readers
✨ Be inspired to see reading as fun, not a chore
✨ Take home a FREE story mountain template to keep the creativity flowing
✨ Enter to WIN a signed book and short story written by Kirsten or Aiyven

Why schools & educators love it

Workshops last 1.5–2 hours and can be delivered online, in the classroom, or at a library making it flexible to your needs. Sessions are packed with laughter, energy, and practical takeaways that leave students buzzing with ideas.

Headteacher Julie Cassiano (Vernon Terrace Primary) put it best:

“What a brilliant reading/writing for pleasure and self-education assembly conducted by two teenage published authors. Nothing like the impact when the message comes from teenagers.”

And the impact doesn’t end when the workshop does. One Year 5 pupil was so inspired that they went on to have their story published in the Young Writers Annual Showcase 2022.

Perfect for:

  • Primary schools looking to enhance literacy and creativity with peer motivation

  • Libraries hosting engaging events for young readers

  • Corporates seeking to sponsor community impact projects

Give your students the chance to learn from the youngest voices in publishing and watch their confidence and creativity soar.
