Theme Reveal for September

And just like that, another month has flown by! We obviously love August as that is when our 6 week holiday from school is. Although we both enjoy school, it's also great to have lots of downtime where we can do whatever we like.

In August we've done lots of writing, and have also taken part in a tennis camp, but this month is now starting to draw to a close and it will soon be September which means back to school! From September Aiyven will be going into year 8 and Kirsten into year 9 (which is 7th and 8th grades for those in America!).

Like with every month, our box for September has a new theme, this month we can reveal that the theme is:

SCI-FI SEPTEMBER

Science fiction (or sci-fi for short) is a genre we both really enjoy. Although it is primarily fantasy, Aiyven's book Land of the Nurogons was influenced by science fiction novels, especially those that are dystopian (relating to or denoting an imagined state or society where there is great suffering or injustice) and so it's a genre we both have great interest in.

We are really looking forward to writing sci-fi based short stories which will be included in September's edition of Happier Every Chapter, our bookish subscription box. We've also selected two fantastic books and lots of exciting items to go within the box.
