Happy New Year!

Hope you all had a lovely festive break! 2023 is finally here and with it comes lots of enthusiasm for the amazing strides & reads we've got planned to ensure this year is unforgettable as far as your literacy goals go.

What are you currently reading? Or better still what do you plan to read? I got Michelle Obama's new book "The Light We Carry" for Christmas and I must admit, I'm in reverence of that beauty of a book and the sacred time I set aside to read it.

Enough about my glee or yours for that matter. It is more important to find out what new ideas the Headteachers, literacy leads, english teachers etc in my network have got to give a boost to their reading for pleasure and diversity awareness initiatives? We are massively excited with our book selections this year starting with those for January whose box is named "Chinese New Hare". Plenty of opportunity to build not just the skill to read but the will to read too with the bestselling titles from some incredibly talented Far East Asian own voice authors.
