The Last Wild
A thrilling and imaginative animal adventure about friendship, courage, and one boy's extraordinary connection with the natural world.
Kester lives in a world where a deadly virus has killed almost all the animals. The surviving animals are considered pests, and the land is under quarantine because the virus is thought to be dangerous to humans too.
Kester doesn't know that there is anything extraordinary about him. Then one day, a flock of pigeons appears in his bedroom — and, amazingly, they can talk to him.
Kester soon discovers that the animals have great hope invested in him. With their help, he is drawn into an incredible adventure that could change the future for both animals and humans.
